Jessica and Jordan's Rehearsal Dinner

Jessica and Jordan invited me to their rehearsal dinner on Thursday night. It was held at Olive Garden, one of my favorite restaurants! I love shooting at rehearsal dinners because it gives me a chance to get to know the couple's family and closest friends, their personalities, and how they react to having a couple of cameras in their faces!



This little guy was playing hide and seek with me for a while throughout the restaurant!


After dinner, everyone proceeded to go bowling! I set up some lighting for dramatic effect! Well that and, the only other light was blacklight so the photos would not be visible otherwise!




I even shot a couple rounds myself! Got a couple strikes!

Ashley and Peter's Engagement!

Ashley and Peter are getting married in June 2010. We went up to Slide Rock State Park for this great shoot! There was so much scenic variety and Ashley and Peter were a ton of fun! I'm really looking forward to the wedding, you guys!!

High Dynamic Range Photography

I've started to learn about this new kind of photography called High Dynamic Range (or HDR) Photography. Every chance I get, I try to capture one of these very interesting shots! I've started to use them in weddings and engagements too! The photos come out so crisp! Take a look and let me know what you think

Megan and Richard's Engagement

Megan is a good friend of mine (and another photographer!). Her and Richard are getting married in September of this year and have asked me to shoot the wedding! They were so much fun to run around Scottsdale with, taking these shots! I'm really excited for the wedding. Congratulations, you guys!

Eric and Erika's Save the Date Engagement

Eric and Erika are a super fun couple! They are both teachers and had an idea to do their engagement shoot at school! They wanted to make Save the Date cards to send out to friends and family, so we decided to use the chalkboard! I'm in love with how these photos turned out!

Band Photos

I was looking through my recent blog posts and realized that they're mostly weddings or engagements. While that is what I've been doing for the most part lately, I wanted to get something up on the blog that wasn't a wedding shoot!
Well, although this is still one of my recent wedding couples, they have their own band and used one of their photo sessions included in the wedding package on edgy portraits of themselves for the band! These photos turned out incredible and these are my very favorites! Their wedding photos are coming up next time on the blog!
